Let us be together
It is our hope that after enjoying Thanksgiving Day with your family and friends, that by late Friday afternoon you will join your extended TMC family for the weekend. This historic and unique TM retreat weekend is an opportunity for us to go deep together and to share and celebrate with each other our very special experiences of having taught Maharishi's technique and knowledge through TMC, Inc. If you are a TMC or post-TMC era teacher, please join us.
It is a wonderful opportunity for many of us to be together. Along with the blissful experience of doing our TM programs together, we also wish to take this time to celebrate our accomplishments and share the story with the new generation of TM teachers and perhaps discuss revitalizing the TMC spirit.
TMC, Inc. Teachers
Through the years from 1969 through the early 1980s, Teachers and Governors of the Age of Enlightenment actively worked to take Maharishi's knowledge into minority communities and to people of color. Most of those teachers began their teachings through the Transcendental Meditation Center(s), the original TMC. Others whom began teaching through other TM organizations felt a natural alignment with TMC because of its mission to service minority communities and people of color. These affiliations were not limited to the African-American community nor to minority communities in the United States. The interest had an international base, including Africa, Asia and Latin America.
We invite all teachers who were directly or indirectly affiliated with TMC, Inc. to share this weekend of deep rest and reflections on the TMC legacy and your own work of teaching this technique. Even if it has been several years since you have taught TM or have explored other avenues of spiritual growth, we welcome you to this retreat.
Post-TMC, Inc. era Teachers
Perhaps you became a teacher after the glory days of the original TMC and yet you share the same TMC desire and focus on taking Maharishi's technique and knowledge to people of color. We are pleased to extend a special invitation to you to join us on this historic weekend retreat and celebration. It will be a time to share with many of the early teachers who taught TM in minority communities. Also, it will be a time for you to share with us your experiences and successes. We would love to have your presence with us and we know that this shared experience will benefit all.
